Family Travel Series #7: Gregory & Laura from London

Updated: May 19, 2020

Whilst we cannot travel, we want to remember our trips and dream of the next ones.

In this travel series, we are reading about lovely family experiences all over the world to help us dream and entertain us.

Thank you so much to Gregory & Laura for sharing their experience with us! ❤️

Where and when was your last trip before the Coronavirus outbreak? Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Tell us a bit about your family, your travel habits, your favourite trips. We are a family of sun-worshippers so like to travel where it is nice and sunny. The youngest member of our family Sophia loves sand, so we love spending days on the beach, Mummy and Mumu (grandmother) love sunbathing and soaking up rays! And daddy loves discovering local food culture and ingredients. He then spends his days cooking all the yummy ingredients for the family! Some of our favourite trips have been to Domburg in the summer, St Wolfgang, Austria (in the spring).

Where would you love to go and hide away now? The Maldives or Bali

Where was your next trip planned? How did Coronavirus affect your plans? Did you have to cancel anything? We had planned to hire a Campervan in August and travel around Europe stopping off to see all our friends whom we have not seen in a while! And cook pizzas for them out of daddy’s pizza oven! We have had to postpone this trip to maybe next year and have not received our deposit back.

Share your best travel picture, the one that you keep coming back to, the one that currently makes you dream and smile.

Where are you looking forward to travelling to next? We would love to travel around the USA or go to Peru

Do you think you will travel more or less? Do you think your travel habits will change? Do you feel inspired to see more? I’m afraid I think we will travel less however we do feel inspired to see more.. the world has changed and we used to love going on cruises but soon big ships may be the worst affected industry by this pandemic.

This was the last episode of this lovely family travel series. Many thanks to everyone who participated and shared their beautiful stories.

Let's keep dreaming about travelling
